Anti-virus email filtering
We provide the best available malware detection that uses multiple layers of detection and multiple anti-virus engines. Our solution uses also two different zero-hour detection compatibilities in order to immediately prevent any outbreaks. Our solutions are natively equipped with 3 to 9 anti-virus engines provided by most important vendors in the world.
We use the best currently available anti-spam detection techniques. We focus on just deterministic (no guess, no heuristic) techniques that require minimal administration. We have collected about 13 anti-spam programmes as well as proprietary and free engines, this guarantees you 96%-98% of accuracy and almost no false positives due to the real-time outbreak detection.
Content control Our revolutionary, policy based configuration with free granularity is able to search words and phrases in the body of the message, all attachments and in all email objects. The most important fact is that we are able to extract the text from multiple nested objects and attachments and to analyse a lot of different file types such as: Microsoft Office files, PDF, RTF etc. We also recognize encrypted attachments. Archiving services SMI! provides strong on fly and on demand archiving functionality. You can decide what will be archived and where it will be stored. Your configuration is based on a specific policy so it is very simple to implement complex regulations and requirements. Archived messages are encrypted and protected against unauthorised access. For backuping you can use third-party software and third-party media.
Regulations Compliance Regulations compliance requires a comprehensive approach to security. Data leakage via e-mail is a serious issue, and if sensitive personal data becomes exposed, a company may found itself in non-compliance with one or more regulations. As such, both inbound and outbound vigilance is required. Policy creation is at the heart of the regulations compliance. Strong, industry trusted standard encryption Uses strong, industry trusted standard encryption inside IBM Lotus Domino infrastructure. With SMI! it is possible to use x. 509 v. 3 certificates to encrypt internal documents and messages and to automatically verify signatures at external Certificate Authorities. Public Key Infrastructure Create your own Public Key Infrastructure and use external PKI inside IBM Lotus Domino / Notes applications. Conversion from the standard Domino’s certifications into our strong certifications is easy and does not require design modifications. Scanning encrypted messages There are hardly any content filtering softwares able to scan encrypted messages. SMI! is able to do that because it integrates both with Lotus Notes and with Lotus Domino servers. Moreover, it encrypts every message or document with special SMI! keys. |
